This console generation continues being much alive and of backward movement with the foot, with many consumers not still who increase to a Playstation 3, to a Xbox 360, or a Wii. But that does not mean that we do not have to begin to think from what will come later.
Later to impel each yesterday to retire a glance in the history of the games video, and to remember the old woman consoles that have been and gone (but still to continue being alive in our hearts, mind, and living room), I thought that it would be being possible now to concentrate in the future, and that anticipates to consoles next-generation. Particularly: which will come first, the Playstation 4, Xbox 720, or Wii 2?
The first place to watch to try and to predict what company, Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo will jump first is to watch what past generation happened. Xbox 360 was sent hardly four years after the original Xbox was available. Nintendo waited for five years between the Gamecube and the Wii. And the PS3 first wine the six years available after the launching of the PS2.
In agreement with those data, and the fact that it seems Sony trusted entirely to the plan of 10 useful year-lives for each new piece of hardware, it would suggest the PS4 it is totally outside the operation, and will be probably the last one of the three great ones to send. It also has the fact that Sony is going to need that length to behind take hold the enormous amount of money that happened in developing Playstation 3 in the first place.
Which leaves Xbox 720 (hopefully not its final name) and Wii 2 (named probably exactly) to be the first one outside the traps.
We have heard already of president Satoru Iwata de Nintendo that the company is working in the launching following of hardware, but with the Wii still that sold in you seed numbers, what the reasoning would be behind planning its launching in caulquier moment soon? Sure, the figures of phenomenal sales of the Wii cannot be maintained by always, and will come a time when they fall substantially dull, but until then, Nintendo is billions of the gain of dollars in benefits and would be angry to realize a change to the matrix.
Microsoft does not have that security, with the sales of the Xbox 360 that clogs these last months. The company seems to undertake a round one of cuts of endless prices to try and to generate some sales, but if that cannot have the wished effect, what following?
It is therefore that fodder that Xbox 720 will be the first following-GENE console to possibly see the light of the day, with I haul 4 that does like game of the launching. And when all this will happen? It could be from 2010, but he is more probably 2011 or 2012.
